mingw32-runtime software package provides Minimalist GNU win32 (cross) runtime, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mingw32-runtime
mingw32-runtime is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mingw32-runtime package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mingw32-runtime *
You will get with mingw32-runtime package name, version, architecture and description in a table
